Kanu Hails Awoniyi's Move To Liverpool

Ex Nigerian International, Kanu Nwankwo has that he is proud of Flying Eagles striker, Taiwo Awoniyi’s move to Liverpool FC.
The 18 year old U17 world cup winning squad member penned down a deal with Liverpool FC yesterday, beating FC Porto and Monaco to the chase.

However, the Anfield based club immediately loaned him out to FSV Franfurt in the Bundesliga, before the summer transfer market closes.

Awoniyi was an integral part of the Flying Eagles squad that won the African U-20 Cup of Nations in Senegal, he also  featured for the Nation at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.
He is expected to join the U23 National team, Dream team XI at the all Africa games which will take place in Brazzaville and also, the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations in Senegal.
Meanwhile, Awoniyi’s style of play has been likened to Kanu Nwankwo’s style during his play-days, he has been tagged ‘small Kanu’ by Nigerians, and now expected to play his debut in the German League.
