Police detectives have discovered another baby factory in Enugu State where babies are sold as high as N300,000, the state Commissioner of Police, Nwodibo Ekechukwu, said on Wednesday, according to the Nigerian Tribune.
Parading four pregnant girls who were arrested alongside an operator of the baby factory located at Ogui-Eke in Udi Local Government Area of the state, Ekechukwu said the owner of the Factory also had a clinic in Enugu metropolis.
The police boss had earlier at press conference told journalists that the business of the owner of the factory was to get teenagers and keep them, either already impregnated or impregnating them and nurturing them before they are delivered of the babies at the clinic.
He stated that when the victims delivered the babies, the suspect, who claims to be a nurse, would pay the girls N10,000 before selling the babies to prospective buyers at N300,000 and above.
The state police command also paraded a suspected ritualist, John Igwe, who was arrested for allegedly being in posse
