Drug Trader Dies Of Cocaine Ingestion

Hamisu Lawan, the NDLEA commander at the Abuja airport,  said the suspect confessed to cocaine ingestion at the hospital.
“The collapse triggered our suspicion and a narcotic officer was assigned to monitor the development. When the suspect’s condition stabilized at the hospital, he confessed to cocaine ingestion. At that point, the NDLEA took over the case from the Port Health Services. He later died while receiving treatment,” Hamisu said.
Fifty-five wraps testing positive for cocaine were taken from the suspect’s stomach for a combined weight of 1.2kg. 
Obiefuna originally from Anambra state but lived in Lagos, canceled his trip before collapsing and was rushed to the hospital.
Meanwhile the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a man with the sum of $2,198,900 at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos state.
