Julio Rey ruins his own football career with own tweets.
Julio Rey has made the shortest football career in the Deportivo football club. His contract with Deportivo, the Spanish club, was cancelled despite the ink on its paper has not dried yet.
It turned out that three years ago Julio Rey posted some assaulting tweets against the club he was about to play for. The dreams of the footballer to leave the Spanish fourth tier and move to Deportivo, have been ruined, when the club’s management read those tweets.
Despite the fact that Julio Rey’s photos appeared on the club’s website, and the footballer deleted his twitter account, Deportivo officials took uncompromising decision to fire this 20-year-old aspiring player just hour after signing the contract.
The La Liga club told in a following statement: “Real Club Deportivo, who announced the signing of Julio Rey in the afternoon after the player signed his contract with the club, have decided to cancel the transfer after analysing an unfortunate comment on the player’s … social media profile several years ago. Deportivo believes that a player deserves to wear the blue and white shirt if he’s an example of sportsmanship, respectful of their rivals, committed and has positive feelings toward Depor, its colours, its crest and those values that represent this institution.
Meanwhile, FIFA president Sepp Blatter on Monday, July 20, left the press conference site  after being showered with fake dollar bills by the British comedian Lee Nelson.
