Former Police Commissioner, Abubakar Tsav has begged President Muhammadu Buhari and the Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase to look into the continous spate of killings in Benue state.

Just recently, the chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Katsina-Ala local government area was killed by unknown gunmen in the state.
Tsav said: “Within a month, a total of about 13 people have been killed in that area, seven of them PDP members.
“Ironically, both the Security Adviser and Security Officer to Governor Samuel Ortom are from that area; yet they cannot stop these senseless atrocities and killings.
“These senseless killings seem to have political undertone and I call on President Muhammadu Buhari and the I-GP to come to our rescue.
“This is how Boko Haram started and metamorphosed into a regional terror group that has destroyed many innocent lives and property,”
