10 Die In Ogun State- Read Why

On Friday, July 31, 2015 10 persons lost their lives in an accident involving two trucks and commercial vehicle around Ogunmakin area of Lagos/Ibadan Expressway.
FRSC Sector Commander in Ogun, Mr. Adegoke Adetunji who confirmed the accident, disclosed that the two buses bumped into the trucks at about 5a.m.
He said, “We went to the scene and met the crash which involved two trucks and two commercial buses. A Mazda bus with registration number MAY 152 XA and a Toyota bus with registration number LND 21 XQ, were traveling to Ibadan before they bumped into the trucks”.
Adetunji further added that, “We understood that the first truck had broken down in the night and was hit by the second truck while the two commercial buses also hit the trucks around the same time”.
He advised motorist to desist from traveling at night because visibility is limited, and appealed to always call them anytime they see a broken vehicle on the highway.
I appeal to the general public to always call our number 122 anytime they see any broken down vehicle on the highways’’, he said.
Adetunji said that corpses of victims had been deposited at the Fakoya Mortuary, in Sagamu.
