2 Sardauna Babes Abscond After Team's Tour In Sweden

What can be regarded as a show of shame recently occurred in Sweden as two players of Nigeria Nationwide League club Sardauna Babes dumped the team in a training tour in Europe.
According to a report on AfricanFootball.com, the two players Sunday Ajala and Kabiru Musa chose to stay back in Sweden after the rest of the players returned to Nigeria without kicking a ball.
The Kano based club were due to play series of friendly games including one against Kalmar in Sweden before the whole arrangement headed south.
It was gathered that at least N12 million was made available for the team’s trip to Sweden, but at the end of the day only seven players flew out to Sweden and returned after a couple of days without the two players.
The arrangement hit the rocks even before a disagreement with the organizers of the tour destroyed it, as the players returned home without kicking a ball because of a disagreement with the Nigerian organizers of the tour.
This scandalous development comes after Flying Eagles forward Bernard Bulbwa was enmeshed in a transfer saga which may likely have the world governing football body FIFA step in.
According to reports, Bulbwa’s former team, Shuttle Sports Academy are set to ask FIFA to cancel the player’s contract in his new side Esperance of Tunisia following the non-payment of a transfer fee of $180,000 for his acquisition.
