AFCON 2017: Injury Hits Eagles Camp

Super Eagles Camp have been hit by injuries as they prepare to travel to Tanzania for the 2017  Cup of Nations qualifier.
Head Coach of the Super Eagles, Sunday Oliseh, on Wednesday morning dropped the duo of Heartland football club players, David Obiazo – a goalkeeper, and Reuben Ogbonnaya.
After a thorough examination from the medical team, they revealed that they can no longer continue in the team and have to go and rejoin their club in Owerri.
As at the time of this report, there is no official announcements to their replacements in the Team.
Surprisingly, some notable players in the Nigerian league did not join the Super Eagles in camp due to their commitments to the clubs they are playing for.
Super Eagles is preparing for the first leg of a two-legged match with Tanzania, in a round of the 2017 African Cup of Nations which is scheduled to take place in Gabon.
