Ay, Emeka Smith, Omobaba Storm #Harvestersunwind

Tent-ripping, rib-cracking, tear-pulling, foot-stomping encounter is what you get when you put Emeka Smith, AY, Omobaba, FunnyBone, HenriSoul all under the same tent!

The Harvesters International Christian Center’s maiden edition of Lagos Unwind had many rolling in laughter, fighting back irrepressible tears (especially those annoying tears that keep ruining make-up), leaving many in high spirit.

The 2015 edition of UNWIND was put together in conjunction with Emeka Smith & Friends, an outreach for young families in Lagos to lose steam and to find Christ. Harvesters is known for her innovative and result-driven approach to taking the gospel to the unchurched. Little wonder it is one of the fastest growing churches in Lagos with branches in Gbagada, Lekki and a new one coming up in Ikeja area.

For a church that had become a desired destination for young families, it was no surprise to see the overwhelming turnout that had the Harvesters’ tents bulging at their rims.
Even though this made the start a bit intense, all that was soon buried under avalanches of laughter through the hilarious performances of the A-list artistes. Shortly into the event one could almost see worries lifted off hearts and a calming atmosphere settling over everyone, especially during the preaching of the Word.

The high points of the #Harvestersunwind event was people turning up for Christ when the Altar call was made by the pastor of Harvesters Lekki, Deji Agboade.
Living in Lagos can be like living in a pressure cooker, if you don’t let out some steam, you will be ‘done’ too quickly! And Harvesters just gets it!
