An ex-beauty queen has won the franchise to host an international beauty pageant in Nigeria.
Loveth Ajufoh, former Miss Unilag (2009) and World Miss University Nigeria (2010), has beaten other notable Nigerians to win the franchise to host the Miss Grand Nigeria beauty pageant.
Ajufoh also represented Nigeria at the World Miss University finals in Seoul, South Korea in (2010).
Ajufoh’s company QLA Nigeria limited secured the franchise of the Nigerian version of the pageant from Miss Grand International, President, Nawat Itsaragrisil.
Final screening for the maiden edition of the paegent will hold on September, 2015. The grand finale will hold on September 11, 2015.
The winner of competition is expected to go home with N1 million, a brand new car and the right to represent Nigeria at the Miss Grand International World finals in October 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Miss Grand International was established in 2013 as an annual international beauty contest by the Miss Grand International Organization based in Bangkok, Thailand.
Over the years, it has been committed to the development of mankind by searching for women to encourage and run the campaign ‘Stop the War and Violence’ against conflict and violence that may lead to war in any form.
