The Kaduna state governor, Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai was spotted with shovel yesterday, cleaning the some parts of the state.
The 55-year-old governor joined the Keep Kaduna Clean Campaign (KKCC) team which kick started yesterday . Governor El-Rufai was accompanied by ex-Super Eagles player and Ambassador Garba Lawal at LEA Primary School, Malali/Badarawa, Kaduna. The governor, to the admiration of onlookers yesterday joined the team to rid the state of dirt. The video says it all.

Mallam Nasir El-Rufai is a member of All Progressives Congress (APC) and he was elected as the Executive Governor of Kaduna State at the just concluded elections in Nigeria. His spell with the government began under the transition government of General Abdulsalami Abubakar, where he served as an adviser in the Transition government.
Meanwhile, there is currently a verbal feud begun between a former vice president, Atiku Abubakar and El-Rufai, over the controversial sale of the Nigerian Telecommunications Limited (NITEL).
