Nigeria now has a flag bearer in the triple jump finals at the on-going International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) championship in Beijing-China.
Tosin Oke, who took a leap of 16.74m qualified from Group A and will now compete in the medals-final which will take place today at the same venue.

However, the Nigerian sprinter has Christian Taylor and Pedro Pablo Pichardo, who were outstanding in their respective groups, to battle with for a place on the podium.
Taylor and Pichardo have repeatedly fired at the 18-metre mark throughout the season, which should have made the 17.00m automatic qualifying standard. .
Taylor eventually topped group B with 17.28m after he took off behind board, starting with just 16.77m.
Pichardo was however outstanding. He took all three of his jumps with a foul in the second-round. His first was 16.94; and at the third, he obviously played safe but still managed to cut the sand 17.43m away.
However, Blessing Okagbare disappointed Nigerians as she failed to turn-up for the 200m race.
