Kennedy Boboye’s Akure gunners will hope to banish ghosts of their 1-0 loss to Dolphins FC as they face El-Kanemi Warriors in the Glo Premier League matchday 25.
Sunshine lost 1-0 in Port-Harcourt in their last match while El-Kanemi come into this match after a 0-0 draw with Warri Wolves in their last league fixture.
The Akure Gunners will have one eye on the Enyimba vs FC Taraba match which they hope bottom of the table Taraba can spring a surprise. Sunshine are two points behind Enyimba on 43 point while the people’s elephant have 45 points.
El-Kanemi have a better head to head result in the fixture in thier last five matches. Kanemi have won three of their last five matches while the Gunners have won twice.
