The Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has been urged to wield the axe, as the majority of the young players in his squad have only been given the opportunity to prove their qualities away from Stamford Bridge.
The number of Chelsea players plying their trade outside Stamford Bridge has risen to twenty-six following the departure of Juan Cuadrado to Juventus on loan.
This number is more than an entire Premier League squad of twenty five.
From big names like Marko Marin (Trabzonspor), to Mohammed Salah (FC Roma), Jose Mourinho’s squad is so massive that he has had to loan out players to far flung corners of Europe to guarantee they see action on the pitch.
