Mourinho Hails 'More Than Good' Pedro, Reacts To Terry Card

Chelsea’s manager, Jose Mourinho, has reacted to his team’s first win of the English Premier League season, and the performance of debutant, Pedro.
The EPL defending champions had gained only one point from their first two matches following a 2-2 draw against Swansea and a 3-0 loss to Manchester City the week after.
However, “The Blues”, inspired by newly-recruited striker, Pedro, rallied to secure a hard fought win over West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns on Sunday.
Chelsea’s new boy, Pedro, has been described as being ‘more than good’ by Jose Mourinho
The manager, who spoke with BBC Sport after the match, said: “This season is a normal situation for us and I am really happy because of the level of players.
“Pedro is a good player, we know he is a good player, more than good. We have seen a lot of top players who struggle to fit in but it looks like it will take him less because straight away, he was in the game, he was important to the team.”
Asked what his views were as regards Terry’s red card, the outspoken “Special One” withdrew into his shell, saying: “I do not want to comment on that.”
Chelsea Captain, John Terry was red carded in the match
He added:“I prefer to have no views, I just try to keep quiet. I know that many people at this point, are disappointed with this result because they love Chelsea to lose.
“I am so happy that the players got what they deserved which was the three points. We were not happy with the first two results, we played very well against Swansea and in the second half against Man City, we played very well and deserved to win.
“I get the feeling that we are fighting against a lot, but today, we win.”
Reports surfaced last week that the Chelsea manager may be one of the first EPL managers to be sacked this season following a dismal start to the new league season, but that may have been quashed with their recent performance.
