An accident occurred this morning involving a fuel tanker and a trailer along Ikorodu road, Lagos. It was reported that the fuel spilled on the road and some people were seen scooping the fuel.
Officers from the Lagos state fire service were available to mange the situation. Policemen were also on site to arrest ‘area boys‘ who were caught scooping fuel.

Meanwhile, tragedy struck at the weekend, when a woman and her three children were crushed to death in an auto crash in Bayelsa state.
