PICTURE: Ronaldo Spews The F-Bomb When Asked About FIFA’s Scandal

Storming out of interviews and press conferences is gradually becoming a typical Cristiano Ronaldo’s escapade.
Just barely a month the Real Madrid forward wrapped up an interview prematurely by removing his headphones, walking out saying: “My friends, thank you very much,” after he was asked about his contract coming to an end in 2018; the Portuguese star has goofed yet again.
A friendly CNN journalist, just trying to get a good story, asked Ronaldo about 2022 World Cup in Qatar and his views on the scandals engulfing world football’s governing body FIFA, but what will ensue was never envisaged.
Irked at the question, Ronaldo said: “I don’t care about FIFA, Qatar, I don’t give a f***.”
He added: “Speak about FIFA, come on…,” as he stood up and walked out of the interview, blurting curses at the crew on his way to the exit door.

Ronaldo’s disdain is perhaps understandable, given he was publicly ridiculed by departing FIFA president Sepp Blatter in October 2013.
When asked at a question and answer session at an English university in October 2013, if he preferred Ronaldo or his rival Lionel Messi, the FIFA president at first said he could not decide.
However, after extolling the virtues of Barcelona’s “good boy” Messi, he stood up and gave the audience at Oxford a bizarre impersonation of Ronaldo, calling him“a commander on the field of play” and then claimed he spent “a lot more at the hairdresser’s.”
Blatter concluded: “I like both of them, but I prefer Messi.”
However, Blatter issued a public apology afterwards, before Ronaldo on the eve of the Ballon d’Or last year, confirmed the air was clear between the two polarizing figures.
