Mr. Kanye Omari West will never let his fans down when invited to headline a gig, be it an impromptu invitation or not.
For this year’s Los Angeles FYF Fest, Frank Ocean had initially been pegged to headline the show but he pulled out days earlier owing to conflicting schedules,Entertainment Weekly reports.
An invitation was therefore sent out on Thursday, August 20 to Kanye West, following this, to headline the gig.
Boasting about 60 performances in two days; ‘the indie-minded, two-day extravaganza of hip-hop, rock and electronic dance music’, as described by EWattracted over 30, 000 fans from various locations, and who better to come fill in for such exigency than Mr. West?
The event held at the Memorial Sports Arena and Exposition Park in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23.
The rapper and producer performed songs like No Church In The Wild, Power, Black Skinhead, Jesus Walks, Touch The Sky, Gold Digger and Good Life among others.
As he got to performing the Paul McCartney and Rihanna-assisted hit‘FourFiveSeconds’, he called out and had Rihanna join him from the audience and it was a super amazing combination on stage.
She also performed ‘All Of The Lights’ with him.

The ‘Never Let Me Down’ rapper closed the curtain at the Sports Arena by performing ‘Only One’, a December 2014 song billed to appear on his sixth studio project ‘Yeezus’.
Only One features vocals from McCartney as well as co-produced by him and Mike Dean.
