Ronaldo Shocks Nepal Earthquake Victim With Signed Shirt

Cristiano Ronaldo has again shown his generosity off the pitch after he surprised a victim of April’s devastating Nepal earthquake.
13-year-old Jetin Shrestha got the shock of his life when he received a signed Real Madrid jersey from Ronaldo.
Shrestha was playing football in April this year when the earthquake, which killed over 9,000 people, struck the South Asian nation.
However, Shrestha stood still as the ground shook around him not knowing the gravity of what was occurring.
Remarkably! He continued to play as soon as the earthquake had stopped, unaware of the enormity of what had just happened.

The youngster said: “I love Cristiano Ronaldo, I love Real Madrid.
“One day I would love to also play for Real Madrid, because I love football.”
These words inspired Omar Havana, photographer and Magarida Mota, a portuguese-based journalist who embarked on a mission to get in touch with Ronaldo and tell him about Jetin’s wish and plight.
Fortunately, Mota was able to track down Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes, who told the Madrid star about the situation.
This instantly inspired the player’s decision to surprise Shrestha with a signed shirt of his.
The shirt, which was delivered earlier this week with the message: “Jetin be strong, best wishes. Cristiano Ronaldo.”
Ronaldo generosity comes just days after he topped the list for his charity work as he once raised money for various causes including donating more than $83,000 to a 10-year-old fan in need of brain surgery and giving more than $165,000 to fund a cancer centre in Portugal that treated his mother.
