Sardauna FC Reacts To Players Defecting Rumours

Nationwide League one side, Sardauna football club of Kano has denied reports that two of its players left camp without notice after their aborted training tournament in Sweden for Germany.
Club General Manager, Kabiru Ali Muzado told sports writers in Abuja on Tuesday that three of its players were given permission by the club to attend trials in Germany.
Muzado named Kabiru Musa Mohammed, Hassim Kabiru Mohammed and SundayAjala Sunday as those who used their  Shengen visa to travel to Germany after the tournament in Sweden.
He said the team could not participate in the tournament due to inadequate funds which one of the sponsors of the trip could not address.
The manager also slammed those who planted the reports to soil the name of the club.
Media reports claimed Sunday Ajala and Kabiru Musa chose to stay back in Swedenafter the rest of the players returned to Nigeria without kicking a ball.
The Kano based club were due to play series of friendly games including one against Kalmar in Sweden before the whole arrangement headed south.
