Chief Bisi Akande, former chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congreess (APC) and Bola Tinubu, former Lagos state governor are meeting behind closed doors with President Muhammadu Buhari.
Tinubu and Akande reportedly arrived the Aso Rock presidential villa in Abuja at about 3.15 pm.
Sources revealed to the newmen that the meeting is occurring inside the president’s office.
Olusegun Obasanjo, ex-president, has also paid a surprise visit to the presidential villa, where he met with President Buhari on September 8.
While in Ghana, Buhari had assured Nigerians that he will not delay in naming his cabinet members before September 30 this year.
The appointments so far made by President Buhari has been generating condemnation from across the country, as critics of his government expressed disappointment on the lopsidedness which favoures only the northern parts of the country.
