De Gea Signs Four-year Man Utd Contract

Manchester United goalie, David De Gea has put the agony of missing out on a transfer to Real Madrid by signing a new four-year contract with his club.
The contract is included with the option of a further year. De Gea Arrived United from Atletico Madrid in 2011 and struggled in his first season but has come stronger in recent seasons, winning United’s player of the year for the past two season.
The 24 year old Spanish goalie told Manchester United after signing his new contract: “I am delighted to be starting this new chapter in my United career. I have always enjoyed playing with these great players in front of our fantastic fans. Manchester United is a special club and Old Trafford is an ideal place for me to continue to develop my career.
“I’m looking forward to putting a difficult summer behind me and concentrating on working hard to improve and help my teammates to be successful.”
Louis Van Gaal praised the Spanish goalkeeper’s contributions to United success in the past seasons. He also expressed his joy that ‘one of the best goalkeepers in world football’ decided to commit his future.




In a related development, Manchester United defender, Marcos Rojo revealed Van Gaal makes him scared anytime he gets angry and creates his ‘bulldog face’.
