Tinubu Warns Nigerian Against Corruption

Nigerians have been asked to embrace rule of law and eschew acts of bribery and corruption.

This was the counsel of Senator Oluremi Tinubu representing Lagos Central senatorial district, during a town hall meeting tagged, “New Chapter, Hope Renewed” held in Lagos.
Leadership quoted her to have said that it is time Nigerians changed from the old ways of doing things.
“Let us all shun bribery, corruption and respect the rule of law, let us not be an accomplice in crime, as Sultan of Sokoto admonished women recently to refrain from collecting proceeds of corruption from their husbands.
“We all crave for a better Nigeria and worked towards it as manifested by the result of the last general election, which saw our great APC emerging victorious at the state and national levels.
“It is time to rededicate ourselves to get Nigeria to our Promised Land. It is time to differentiate the goat from the sheep and the wheat from the chaff. All hands have to be on deck to achieve that new Nigeria we voted for,” she stated.
The senator also appealed to Nigerians to support citizens who are making the country safe for all.
She said: “Let us all work together to ensure that this administration put an end to the menace of Boko Haram insurgency in Nigeria.”
The senator, after visiting her constituency for the first time after her re-election into the Nigerian Senate, recently gave out some gift items to her people.
