The Principal of Babcock University Schools (BUS), Ogba, Lagos, Mr. Gabriel Fasanu has urged the Federal Government to quicken the commencement of the implementation of its free meal programme for children in public schools.

Fasanu, who made this call during BUS Thanksgiving Service/Community Guest Day, pointed that the quick implementation of the programme will alleviate the hunger problems millions of school children are facing, adding that most parents cannot afford three square meals a day.
According to the educationist, poverty and malnutrition, often result to poor academic performance and increased number of children who are out of school.
The Principal, however said the thanksgiving service was an opportunity for the school to thank God for its numerous achievements in the two years of existence, as well as to appreciate the contributions of staff, students, parents and its host community.
On his part, the Vice-President, Spiritual Life in Babcock University, Dr. Tunde Ojewole in his message entitled “Receiving the full reward,” said that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Ojewole noted that God is not like man that rewards people partially.
He charged the staff and students to always pray for full rewards in all they do, stressing that they should not allow sin to make their full reward impossible.
