NEW YEAR PREDICTIONS… Mbaka reveals plans to assassinate Buhari

  • As Nigerians joined others to mark the New Year celebration, some prominent Nigerians, including clerics have called on Nigerians to seek the face of God in addressing some of the socio-political and economic problems facing the nation.

While others advocated for a “rebirth” in the spirit, others warned of dire consequences on the nation and its leaders should they fail to heed to God’s call for a “complete change of attitude and character.” For instance, the fiery Roman Catholic Priest in Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, yesterday revealed of a “plot” by some corrupt Nigerians to assassinate President Muhammadu Buhari in order to end the war against corruption.
Similarly, other prominent clerics such as the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, President Bishop and President of Living Faith Church Worldwide (aka Winners Chapel), Bishop David Oyedepo, Pastor of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet T.B. Joshua; the Spiritual Head of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement, worldwide, Most Rev. Samuel Abidoye, among others also urged Nigerians to be steadfast.
Mbaka alleges plan to assassinate Buhari
But Mbaka, who spoke during his Adoration Ministry Enugu, to usher into the New Year, said there were desperate plans to assassinate Buhari in order to end the ongoing fight against corruption. His message read in part: “No matter how malignant the problem is, God says He will be in charge; fellow Nigerians, let us wait upon God; I have a new message; I’m blessing and covering the message we are giving now in the prophetic name of Jesus; Father speak now as your servant listens. “In 2013, there was a prophecy that was going to be an oil doom after several years of oil boom, and when that message came out of this ground, many started calling me a prophet of doom.
“How can there be oil doom in oil boom? And the oil price continued to climb, but the message said people should start to gather as in the days of Joseph, that the people in government should continue to gather, let them stop squandering our wealth; but they never listened; throughout the six years we passed in the past administration, God blessed our oil with high prices, over N140 per barrel, but the message kept coming, don’t mind the oil boom, there is going to be oil doom, our politicians should stop embezzling our wealth but they said the money will continue to come, our oil will continue to flow.”
He added that: “During these moments of the oil boom, there was excess crude money, they didn’t know what to do with our money, when our youths were suffering and still suffering, graduates had no jobs, new industries were not built, our roads were not reconstructed, our hospitals were in shambles and total collapse.
“Our education system was in shambles and these politicians were building good schools outside the country, Ghana, among others even hospitals in South Africa, and other neighbouring countries and when any of them is sick, he will be flown outside the country because there is no hospital in the country worthy of authentic medication, you cannot find any state in Nigeria that has worthy diagnostic facilities; not one; the entire money voted for hospitals were looted, corruption was in quantum, to the level that the Nigerian Bishops had to convene a prayer against bribery and corruption and enjoined all Catholics to be praying that prayer daily.
“All the money voted for roads were swindled; many of them became millionaires, billionaires over night in naira, in dollars, in pounds, in euro when they have no workshop; no business centre; somebody who has nothing doing, just because he is a politician, and they wasted our oil money, now the doom came and there is no preparation for it; the economy of Nigeria is an oil based economy.
“My beloved Nigerians, those who led us from last year downwards, they have killed this country; none of them is qualified to stay in this country by now, both the President, the Senators, the Reps, the chairmen of local governments, the governors, they are wicked; it doesn’t matter the man of God they worship with; I tell you, before God and man, all of them are wicked; they hate this country, they succeeded in removing the liver, kidney and cardio vascular system of this country, and handed over to President Buhari shambles, skeletal organs of this country; a nation that is comatose.
“Nigeria, as we speak now, economically, security wise is in the intensive care unit; if the oxygen is removed, Nigeria will die, people of God prayed, from here and there and God gave us Buhari. God has told us that Buhari is prayer answered; President Buhari is an answered prayer; whether you hate him or like him, Buhari is prayer answered; the Bishops of Nigeria, the Catholic Bishops prayed against bribery and corruption and this President came with a charter that has to do with war against corruption; all the prayers we have been doing about bribery and corruption, God answered it in Buhari who decided not to discriminate; there is nothing like religious or political discrimination in Buhari’s government.
He needs all the support, unstoppable support; spiritual and otherwise; because if he is not the man in power now, had it been the last regime continued, by now, Nigeria would be for sale.
Adeboye predicts new sex disease emerging
In his sermon, Adeboye predicted that a new sexually transmitted disease will emerge during this year. The cleric also prophesied that things would get worse in the country before they improve, while on the international scene more natural disasters will occur. “Things are likely to get tougher, before they get better, but things will definitely get better before the year ends. What He (God) started last year, he will finish this year, provided we don’t rejoice too soon.
“Natural disasters, floods, fires, earthquakes, are likely to get progressively worse, until governments realise that these are parts of divine judgment against those who have unholy laws. If governments will repent of disdaining Christ and his church, He will help them win the fight against terrorism. A major war will be averted this year.”
Nigerians will experience changes – Oyedepo
Similarly, Oyedepo in his New Year prophetic declaration, said: “It doesn’t matter where you are today or how miserable your life maybe today, but if you will diligently do the work of God, you are sure of a dramatic change of level. In 2016, your social, businesses and spiritual life will be flourishing from Glory to Glory.”
Joshua prays for Buhari
Joshua released a list of bleak predictions for the year, which was particularly directed towards the continent of Africa. Joshua, who shunned protocol by cancelling his yearly ‘crossover service,’ opting rather to address his followers live on Christian television network Emmanuel TV from an undisclosed location.
The cleric offered prayers for President Buhari, by saying: “He has good intentions but a king’s intentions cannot be carried out properly without the support of the subjects. He needs your support to lead us out of the valley.”
‘Don’t expect miracle from FG’
Founder of INRI Evangelical Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, predicted that: “Nigerians should not expect President Buhari to achieve much in the anticorruption war as the whole effort would backfire as several notable people who are close to him will be indicted and thereby tie his hands such that he will not make progress.”
President will perform – Abidoye
Abidoye said the present administration of President Buhari would perform creditably well and surprise Nigerians with improved and better government. He therefore urged the stakeholders to be patient with him now. Abidoye who gave the prediction yesterday in Galilee land along Ogbomosho- Ilorin Expressway while declaring open the 75th Annual Conference of the church, said: “The rots of previous administrations that President Buhari needs to clear has made it imperative for Nigerians to be very patient with him to enable him make the desired change he promised. Nigerians should expect incredibly good performance from President Buhari this year.”
Cleric advises Buhari on Boko Haram
The Catholic Archbishop of Lagos, Most Rev. Adewale Martins, has condemned the continuous loss of lives of innocent Nigerians in the hands of the Boko Haram sect. The cleric, in his New Year message, said the recent killing of over 61 Nigerians in multiple bomb blasts in Borno and Adamawa states were of concern to many Nigerians.
Ademowo tasks leaders on performance
The Dean Emeritus, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Most Rev. Adebola Ademowo, yesterday called on the nation’s political leaders to shun politics-of-promise-without performance but to politicsof- action and service. Ademowo, who said this in his New Year message in Lagos, said: “Right now, Nigeria’s economy is on a tail spin, unemployment in year 2,000 was 13.9 per cent; it rose to 23.95 per cent in 2012. Yet for the past seven years, Nigeria has been reporting a growth of seven per cent.”
Ambode: Expect better security, infrastructure
Ambode assured residents in the state of improved security and infrastructure development this year. The governor promised Lagosians, especially the youth that his administration would provide more opportunities for them to realise their potential in the state.
Ambode said: “Our pledge is to make Lagos clean, safe and secured. We will witness a remarkable boost this year. We commit to work as hard as possible to create more jobs for our youths. The Employment Trust Fund is designed to help our youths to set up their businesses and it will commence this year.”
Aregbesola: Era of unearned revenues gone
Aregbesola said the era of unearned revenues has come to an end as he urged Nigerians to be ready to sacrifice for a country that must survive the present economic challenges. The governor prayed that the year would be peaceful and usher in fresh opportunities, goodness, prosperity and abundance to all and sundry.
