Popular senator, Ben Murray-Bruce may just be the perfect example of popular saying ‘practice what you preach.’
Ben Bruce, at his 60th birthday party, which was held a few days ago in Abuja, launched a book titled, ‘CommonSense Revolution’ and shared free copies to guests in attendance.
An imprint in the publication suggests that the book was not printed in Nigeria but in the United States.
In a series of tweets, Nigerians have come against the Bayelsa State Senator and the Silverbird CEO, who for many weeks was an advocate of ‘buy in Nigeria goods’ for doing the exact opposite, saying he is a hypocrite.
Abubakar Sidiq Usman, in his twitter handle by the name, @MrAbuSidiq, said Ben Murray Bruce has no moral justification for advocating#BuyNaijaToGrowTheNaira since he printed his book in the US.
You keep telling Nigerians to #BuyNaijaToGrowTheNaira but you went to print your #CommonSense revolution book in the US. Loool
Lauretta Onochie (@Laurestar) also agrees with Usman that an advocate of #BuyNaijaToGrowTheNaira shouldn’t have printed his book outside the country if he had wanted the naira to grow.
So, #BuyNaijaToGrowTheNaira advocate made his book in the USA. Haba @benmurraybruce. @Ayourb @MrAbuSidiq @APCNigeria pic.twitter.com/JchGQ08Fy4
Imagine, so Ben Bruce did not even print his book, ‘A Commonsense Revolution’ here in Nigeria? #BuyNaija, Noise – making venture!
