There was a tense atmosphere with reports of violence and mayhem in Rivers state as the rerun legislative election was held in the state yesterday, March 19.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) conducted elections for 22 of the 32 state House of Assembly seats, 12 of the 13 House of Representatives seats and the three Senatorial Districts.
However, elections in Gokhana, Khana, Andoni, Bonny local government areas of the state have been postponed; the date for a rerun is yet to be announced.
Below are more unconfirmed poll results after polling units were closed late yesterday, and counting of ballot papers commenced as Nigerians are patiently waiting for election results.
