Eleven fans were put in custody at Sunday's Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium due to unruly behaviour.
Manchester Police reported minor incidents of disorder and fighting between supporters of Manchester City and Manchester United around the ground before kick-off and after the final whistle.
The arrested persons are all men will remain in custody. One was arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer.
Another was held on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly, two were on suspicion of committing affray and another was for possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
Five arrests were made for alleged public order offences, with incidents including fighting and using threatening behaviour, and the other was for criminal damage.
The game between Manchester City and Manchester United ended 1-0 in favor of United courtesy of a first-half strike from Marcus Rashford.
