Manchester United are reportedly prepared to pay PSG star Zlatan Ibrahimovic a whopping £250,000 a week.
According to the Daily Star, the Red Devils are ready to offer a lucrative contract for the Swedish striker who comes out of contract with Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
It is believed that United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward wants to offer Ibrahimovic a two-year deal in a bid to revamp the club after a lean few seasons since Sir Alex Ferguson departed as manager.
A club source reportedly told the Star that United are determined to lure the 34-year-old to Old Trafford in the next transfer window.
"The team needs a major injection of talent and some superstar additions," said the source.
"Zlatan fits the bill. He might be getting on a bit but he can still do it at the highest level and would be worth the risk in terms of big wages because no fee is involved."
