Chief Emmanuel Anyanwu, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has publicly disowned his first son, Charles Anyanwu for joining the All Progressives Congress, APC.
PM NEWS reports that Chief Chief Anyanwu alleged that his home was invaded by soldiers based on a petition filed against him by his son alleging that he was a gunrunner.
Disowning his son, Chief Anyanwu said, ''I want to say or reemphasize what I said at Ulakwo that he (Charles) has been disowned for his behaviour, not only for sending soldiers to my house but for destroying the town hall of Ulakwo community.
''He has now lost his rights and privileges in Anyanwu’s dynasty. He remains disowned today. Anybody who deals with him is on his own. He is no longer my son because he doesn’t possess character and image of Anyanwu dynasty. At this my age there is nothing that can associate me with arms”.
