Those Who Complain of No Electricity Should Hold the Vandals - Buhari's Spokesman Tell Nigerians

President Muhammadu Buhari's Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, is the second member of the President’s team to make a major gaffe in a week.
Despite a grinding fuel scarcity which threatens businesses and is keeping cities in darkness, the Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu had said Nigerians should not expect 'magic', a statement which was quickly condemned by APC chieftain, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
In an interview on Channels TV programme, Sunday Politics, Femi Adesina, was asked a broad range of questions from the poor state of electricity as well as the lingering fuel crisis. His thoughtless response was that 'Nigerians should go and hold those who vandalised oil installations.'
Buhari’s administration has been largely uninspiring, with fuel crisis and a worsening economy seeming beyond the grasp of the government. The government’s anti-corruption campaign seems to be more on the pages of newspapers than anywhere else as the Buhari government inches nearer the one year mark.
