Dethroned Premier League champions Chelsea have launched the brand new 2016/17 Adidas home kit ahead of their new manager Antonio Conte’s arrival this summer.
Belgium winger Eden Hazard and England U-21 midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek revealed the Adidas 16-17 Chelsea home kit design live on Facebook.
‘Blue is the colour,’ Hazard said. ‘It’s good, it’s new, I hope we can win some games with this shirt. Not too tight, it’s good.’
Loftus-Cheek added: ‘I like the little lions over the shirt and also the stripes on the inside rather than the outside of the arms.
The new Chelsea home kit, priced at £90, will be debuted against Leicester City in Chelsea’s final Premier League game of the season at Stamford Bridge.
The new Chelsea 16-17 home kit follows the same template in line with Adidas’ other Euro 2016 home kits: the new kit comes in the club’s traditional blue colour, featuring a white v-collar with blue trim.
It has the iconic Adidas three stripes running down on both sides of the new 16-17 Chelsea home shit. Sponsored by Yokohama, the logo of the Tyres visible on the chest, the combination of blue and white adds a soothing visual effect.
The new Adidas Chelsea 2016-17 home kit shorts and socks are blue and white, respectively.
