EFCC Allegedly Investigates Kachikwu Over Sharp Practices, Accounts Frozen

Controversial online news platform, Sahara Reporters has alleged that the brother of the Minister of State for Petroleum resources, Ibe Kachikwu who is named Dumebi Kachikwu is currently being investigated by one of the anti-graft agencies in Nigeria, EFCC who have also frozen his account(s).
 
Earlier this year, some stalwarts of the All Progressives Congress, A‎PC, had accused the Abuja based businessman, Dumebi Kachikwu of meddling in the affairs of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.

The South South APC youths at a weekend raised the alarm over what it termed the ‎'frightening attempt to hijack and wrap up NNPC' by the businessman who it said was taking advantage of his elder brother ( Emmanuel Kachikwu's) position of group managing director of NNPC as well as minister of state for petroleum, to control the affairs of the corporation and by large the oil industry.
 
There is no official report from the camp of Dumebi Kachikwu concerning the grave allegations.
