Secretary to the Benue State government diagnosed with brain tumour

The Secretary to the Benue State government, Targema Tarkema was rushed to the teaching hospital in the state capital, Makurdi, after collapsing at home on Saturday at about 11am.

A family member told newsmen that the SSG had a brain tumour.

It was learnt that the state executive meeting that lasted a whole day might have aggravated his condition.

The Special Adviser to the state governor on Media and ICT, Mr. Tarhav Agerzua, also confirmed that the SSG was receiving treatment at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital.
