We have no connections with Niger Delta Avengers – MASSOB leader

Factional leader of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, Chief Solomon Chukwu on Thursday dismised reports linking the pro-Biafra agitators to resurgent militant group, Niger Delta Avengers.

Speaking through the group’s Director of Information, Mr Sunday Okereafor, the factional leader of the group said unlike Avengers who are armed, MASSOB members are non-violent, Punch reports.

Chukwu described the pro-Biafra group as ill, obnoxious and nefarious.

“Avengers are militants. Their philosophy, ideology, concept, mission and vision are quite extraneous from MASSOB,” he said.
