No verification exercise, no salary - FG warns senior civil servants

Following the revised schedule and initial extension of the verification exercise of Directorate Level Officers in the Federal Public Service, the Federal Government has further extended the exercise to July 15, 2016 so as to enable officers who have been away on official engagements to participate in the exercise.

This was contained in a circular titled: “Re: Verification Exercise For Directorate Level officers in the Federal Public Service,” signed by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Winifred Oyo-Ita, and sent to to all Ministries, Departments and Agencies of the Federal Government.”

Oyo-Ita warned that: “Officers who declined, under any guise, to participate in the verification exercise for the Directorate Level Officers in the Federal Public Service will be taken off the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System with effect from Monday, 25th July, 2016.

“MDAs who have not forwarded the list of their Officers on foreign missions and other official engagements outside Nigeria, should ensure that they do so on or before Friday, 15th July 2016.”
