President Muhammadu Buhari will on Monday travel to N’Djamena where he is expected to join other Heads of State and Government for the inauguration of President Idriss Deby of Chad.
Deby won the presidential elections in his country in April.
According to a statement on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, the President will be accompanied on the one-day trip by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State and Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State.
Adesina said the President’s delegation would also include Senato Baba Kaka Garba; Hon. Mohammed Tahir Monguno; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama; and the National Security Adviser, Maj.-Gen. Babagana Monguno (retd).
The President will return to Abuja after the inauguration.
