29-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashian star, Rob Kardashian and his pregnant fiance, Blac Chyna, have taken the cover of People magazine to promote their new E! reality TV show
The engaged dad-to-be disclosed in the feature interview of how love saved him. 'She got me through my darkest times. I wasn't happy in my own skin. I missed out on so many things. Chyna definitely motivates me. Being with her got me over the insecurity of being out in public,' he said.
According to Dailymail, Rob Kardashian said he was 'depressed and adrift' before he fell in love with the ex stripper and model, adding that it caused him to gain 100 pounds which led to a diabetes diagnosis, and also confessed that at his heaviest he was 300 lbs, adding that he is now 285lbs, but 210lbs is his goal weight.
'I've been friends with Chyna for a long time. She was someone I reached out to for advice. She would cook for me and we'd just talk. She's surrounded me with a lot of positivity. From the moment we met, I knew I wanted to be more than friends,' he said.
Blac Chyna also recently covered Paper magazine
Also speaking to People magazine, Blac Chyna said: 'I saw Rob was willing to better himself. I had never wanted to be tough. I never wanted to change him.'
The couple are now looking forward to welcoming their first child together this fall (she already has son King Cairo with Tyga, who now dates Kylie Jenner).
'We just want to live our lives the way we want to. There were definitely dark days for me, and I'm still not fully happy looking at myself in the mirror. But I'm working towards that. And I'm happy,' she said.
