Brown Ideye has described Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, as a no-nonsense man.
The Olympiacos striker has been in superb form for his Greek club and has been called up for next week’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against Algeria in Uyo.
Although Ideye admitted Rohr was a difficult man to work with, the 24-year-old added that it was also a privilege having him as the national team boss.
“He is very difficult man in working terms,” Ideye told SuperSport.
“The manager knows what he wants and he always pushes us to the best. He doesn’t take bullsh*t from anyone. So, I think if we take like this, we’ll really do well.
“And I think working with him is a privilege. I am really happy. I can’t wait for the game [against Algeria]. I am looking forward to the game.”
Ideye also hailed the level of interaction between the older generation of the Super Eagles and the new faces in the squad.
He added: “We have good understanding [with the young players] we speak a lot before and after any game. I don’t have problem with them and they are very cool guys. So we enjoy playing together.”
