President Muhammadu Buhari, in a tweet, yesterday evening said he is grateful to Nigerians for wishing him good health. He also thanked the senate leaders for paying him a visit to London, United Kingdom.
He made the statement after receiving leaders of the National Assembly namely Senate President Bukola Saraki, House of Representatives Speaker, Yakubu Dogara and the Senate Leader Ahmed Lawan.
He tweeted:
"I thanked them for visiting. I'm also grateful to Nigerians, Christians and Muslims alike, for their prayers and kind wishes for my health"
The latest pictures of the president looking better energized with impressive smiles have quelled all nefarious rumours that he might have died in London with the news being politicized by his allies.
President Buhari is currently at the Abuja House in London recovering from an undisclosed illness that has disturbed his peace overtime.
His return date to Nigeria remains unspecified and riddled with incoherent media speculations.
