Police in Kano are currently investigating how and who is responsible for the rape and murder of a young house wife.
Residents of Kano are still in shock over the unfortunate demise of a 22-year-old house wife who was raped to death by unknown person at her matrimonial home at Ungogo quarters, outskirt of Kano municipal.
Police spokesman in Kano, DSP Musa Magaji Majia told Reporters in Kano that the tragic incident which occured yesterday was reported by the deceased husband.

The police said Abdullahi Muhammad, husband of the late Aisha Abdullahi reported that he met the deceased in the pool of her own blood when he returned home.
DSP Majiya said that Detectives have commenced investigation and will unravel the mystery behind the dastardly act, as he stressed that no stone would be left unturned.
The Wednesday gruesome murder of Aisha Abdullahi brought to fore safety concerns among women in the city as similar incident was recorded couple of weeks ago when Khadija Muhammad of Ja’in quarters was also killed at her home.
Already, two suspects, Nura and Haruna are in Court facing charges in respect of Khadija Muhammad’s death.
The latest tragic incident has generated condemnation by residents as prayers have been held in several worship centres for divine intervention.
Vanguard reports that similar incident was recorded at Unguwar Katsina of Ungogo local government last December.
