Nigeria premier league defending champion, Kano Pillars has revealed that, a new gaffer will be unveiled on Thursday, July 30.
The Kano state owned club have been playing league matches without a head coach since the Governor Ganduje sacked Okey Emordi, the former head coach of Kano pillars along with the board members.
NAIJ.com was tipped by a club insider on Wednesday that the new Coach will arrive Kano today and will be unveiled tomorrow, Thursday by the state government.
“The new coach is expected to arrive today and meet the state government officials before tomorrow’s unveiling, I cannot tell you the person name but I can only assure you that we will have a new Coach before tomorrow evening,” the source said
NAIJ.com also scooped that the former head coach of the team and the present coach of Premier League club, Nasarawa United, Baba Ganaru is in line to be the next head coach of Kano Pillars.
Kano Pillars who have won the League title consecutively in four seasons seem not to get their root since the 2014/15 league season commenced.
They are ninth on the League table with 27 points in 19 played matches unlike their top three spots in previous league seasons.
Okey Emordi earned 1.7million per month before his sack.
