Soccer’s world governing body, Fédération Internationale de Football Association, (FIFA) will elect a new president on February, 26, 2016.
FIFA made the announcement via its Twitter page on Monday, July 20, 2015
According to a report on BBC, candidates for the position will have to be nominated before October, 26.
It would be recalled that Sepp Blatter was re-elected as president of the soccer governing body on May, 29, 2015 but just four days later, he announced his intention to step down amid two investigations into corruption at football’s world governing body.
