How El-Rufai Masterminded Keshi's Sack

It is no longer news that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) sacked former Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi because of what they referred to as a “lack of commitment and trust”.
According to the football body, Keshi applied for the then vacant head coach job at the Ivory Coast FA whilst on appointment with the NFF. A move which was against the two years contract which Keshi signed with the NFF in April 2015.
omgdailyupdate.blogspot.com has been informed by a top official of the NFF, who pleaded anonymity, the main people behind the former Eagles captain’s sack.

It would be recalled that the NFF had been finding it difficult to sack Keshi from his post due to his godfather whom many believed was Ita Ekpenyong, the former Director General of the State Security Service, DSS.
Keshi was eventually ousted out of the Eagles job a day after the former DG of the SSS was sacked by President Muhammadu Buhari.
However, our source alleged that the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai was the one that gave the go ahead to the NFF to sack Keshi, assuring the football house that he would back them at the Presidency.
It was gathered that the second Vice President of the NFF, Shehu Dikko, who is a known ally of the Governor and who is nursing an ambition to become the next NFF President, however, worked with Chris Green and Amaju Pinnick to sack Keshi.
Meanwhile, Keshi has been quoted in the media to be planning to take the NFF to court for what he called an unjust dismissal from his contract.
