A Chief Magistrate sitting in Akure, Ondo state on Wednesday, jailed the TWO suspected killers of former Vice Chancellor of FUTA, Professor Albert Adeoye Ilemobade.
In a report published on Sahara Reporters, the TWO suspects were both arraigned before Chief Magistrate, Mrs. Victoria Bob-Manuel and were charged with four counts of robbery, murder, and conspiracy.
The first suspect, Daniel Ita, was a security guard, and the second, Olayemi Bamitale, was a former driver to the late Professor of Veterinary Medicine.
It was gathered that the Chief magistrate, Victoria Bob-Manuel passed her verdict despite the suspects’ plea and tears during the court proceedings.

Speaking during the court proceedings, police prosecutor, Isah Atanegbe, explained to the court how the accused CARRIED out their murderous acts.
Atanegbe however sought for an adjournment to the case to enable him duplicate the case file for legal advice from the Department of Public Prosecution (DPP).
In her verdict, Chief Magistrate Bob-Manuel ordered that the TWO accused persons should be jailed in Olokuta Prison while the case awaits trial.
She adjourned the case till the 18th of September, 2015.
