Security Operatives Arrest GEJ's Chief Security Officer

The Chief Security Officer (CSO) to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Gordon Obuah, has been arrested and detained by the Department of State Security (DSS), reports said.
The Sahara Reporters stated that a source at the DSS claimed that Obuah’s detention was as a result of an investigation that implicated him in aiding oil bunkering.

The online news portal also published that a family sources claimed that Obuah was detained since Thursday 4 days after he was asked to report daily to the headquarters of SSS.
According to the report, a representative of Obuah’s family informed that since Obuah’s detention,  he has been kept in solitary confinement, denied access to family members, medical care and his lawyers.
Meanwhile, Sunday Sun gathered that Obuah had been on hunger strike since his detention.Also confirming the report, the Executive Director of Society for Global Justice, in a statement, stated that Obuah was detained at the DSS headquarters in Abuja and demanded his immediate release.
The group called on Nigerians to take note of the tyrannical, autocratic and dictatorial ten­dencies of the President Muhammadu Buhari admin­istration.
This is coming after the former National Security Adviser to ex-President Jonathan, Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd) was also detained by the DSS.
