Twenty-two-year-old American music royalty, Bobbi Kristina is dead.
Bobbi Kristina Brown who is the only daughter of singers Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, died Sunday, six months after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub of her Georgia home. She had been in a coma since then.
“She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months,” her family told NBC news in a statement.
Bobbi Kristina can be said to be a music royalty as she is the offspring of two music superstars. At age 10, she debuted on her father’s reality TV series, “Being Bobby Brown.” Bobbi’s parents, Whitney and Bobby Brown divorced in 2007 and sadly, Bobbi Kristina Brown was their only child.
After divorcing Bobby Brown, Whitney Houston brought in Nick Gordon, a 12-year-old orphan. She raised him with her daughter. Gordon wore a large tattoo of Houston’s face on his arm and called the singer “mom,” but she never adopted him or included him in her will. When Houston died in February 2012, Bobbi was named as the sole beneficiary of her mother’s estate.
Tributes have been pouring in over the demise of the American reality television and media personality, singer, and heiress.
