As the debate over Yusuf Buhari’s ‘role’ in his dad’s government continues to bea subject of discourse among Nigerians many do not know the pressures the young man face everyday since his dad became Nigeria’s number one citizen.

A report on Thecapital.ng chronicles how the president’s son has been under pressure from some members of the political class, who wants to curry his favour in order to take advantage of the young man to reach his father.
Yusuf who was described as his father’s Personal Assistant (P.A) in the report, was hailed for refusing to be tainted by the deviousness and guilty pleasures characteristic of vile and corrupt men and women in the corridors of power.
Yusuf is also said to be struggling to now decipher between sincere friends and acquaintances and otherwise, as he is now the sweetheart of Nigeria’s self-seeking political class.
A lot of people comprising politicians, lobbyists and businessmen are trying to woo him by plying him with gifts of expensive cars among other things.
But Yusuf seem to be immune to the lure of such compromising luxury. He continually turns down offers of help and rejects without hesitation.
Although some of his close relatives and close friends have been mounting pressure on him to accept the gifts.
Findings revealed that some of them have even started accepting the gifts on his behalf, without his knowledge.
Yusuf somewhat ‘broke many women’s hearts’ all over Nigeria as he suddenly appeared in public alongside his father yesterday for the first time on May 28 2015.
