Three brave bare-handed Americans have beaten up and tied ISIS terrorist armed with a pistol, a knife and a machine gun preventing massacre on train in France.
Crazed Islamist terrorist linked to vicious ISIS sect, who decided to go on killing spree in the train full of passengers, was tackled by the three brave bare-handed Americans.
The three buddies from the US traveled in Europe as vacationers. Two of them were American servicemen.
23-year-old Spencer Stone serves in the Air Force and practices jujitsu, 22-year-old Alek Skarlatos is a member of the US National Guard, who has just returned from his service duties in Afghanistan, and 23-year-old Antony Sadler is a college student.
They boarded on the high-speed train in Amsterdam travelling to the capital of France, Paris.
It was the same train chosen by 25-year-old Ayoub El Khazzani to commit his act of terror.
He boarded the train in Brussels, Belgium, armed with AK-47 machine gun, a luger-pistol and a box-cutter knife.
The terrorist opened fire shooting one passenger severely in the neck.
“My friend Alek Skarlatos yelled, “Get him!,” so my friend Spencer Stone immediately gets up to charge the guy, followed by Alek, then myself,” Sadler told the press the details of the incident.
“He kept pulling more weapons left and right,” said Stone, who was injured in his hand with a knife. “He seemed like he was ready to fight to the end. So were we.”
They tied the gunman and handed him over to the police. It later turned out that Ayoub El Khazzani is linked to a group of French ISIS fighters in Turkey, the officials told the press. Later Spencer Stone, who is also a paramedic, despite his wounded arm, stopped the bleeding from the neck of the critically wounded passenger and that’s saved his life.
“It is clear that their heroic actions may have prevented a far worse tragedy,” said President Barack Obama, who phoned the three US citizens.
French President Francois Hollande thanked them for their exceptional courage that helped to prevent the tragedy. The Americans were recommended for a decoration with the highest French government award, Legion d’honneur.
However, brave American guys turned out to be quite humble, saying that they were lucky to survive because the failed terrorist simply was not smart and fit enough.
“He clearly had no firearms training whatsoever,” told Alek Skarlatos after the incident. “If he knew what he was doing or even got lucky and did the right thing, he would have been able to operate through all eight of the magazines, and we probably wouldn’t be here today.”
Meanwhile, the senior special assistant on media and publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, Shehu Garba has reacted to the visa row concerning the ISIS leader who was arrested while trying visit Nigeria.
