Governor of Lagos state, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has postponed the setting up of his cabinet to September.

The House of Assembly gave credence to the unavailability of the list when the lawmakers adjourned till September 7 for plenary.
The adjournment means that the lawmakers would be on recess during this period.
The governor is said to have been running a solo-administration since, May 29when he was sworn in to office and has been working with the Chief of Staff, Tunji Bello, and the Chief Press Secretary, Habib Haruna.
However, there had been speculations that the governor had sent the list of nominees for his cabinet to the state House of Assembly.
Naij.com gathered that, the governor is still working on harmonizing the list available to him with special consideration for his benefactor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Although, being on recess does not stop the legislators from re-convening for urgent and serious issues like the screening of cabinet nominees and such other purposes.
